Group Suiting – Frequently Asked Questions

When can I schedule a group?

Complete this form at least six weeks before you want to schedule your group. We need time to ensure the date is available and schedule the necessary volunteers.

Groups can come Tuesday through Friday or, on some occasions, on Saturday. Tuesday-Thursday, 10am-12pm or 1pm-3pm; Friday 10-12pm; Saturday, 10am-12pm or 12pm-2pm. These schedules are based on volunteer schedules and available space in our building.

How many women can I bring?

We can suit 16 women in a 2-hour shift. That is driven by the number of dressing rooms we have. If you have more than 16 women, you can schedule a second shift or another day based on availability.

What happens if I miss the deadline for having my referral forms in?

All referral forms are due two weeks before the appointment.  If we do not have your referral forms two weeks in advance, we cannot hold those spots for your group. At that point we will open those times for other women who need the support.

What if someone from my group doesn’t show up, can they reschedule to come on their own?

Yes, as long as they filled out a referral form, we will contact them to reschedule their appointment. The rules for appointments apply – if they are a no-show or reschedule more than twice, they will not be eligible to come in for six months. If your program has restrictions on rescheduling, please let us know so that we do not contact your clients.

How long is the appointment?

A typical group event for women who have an upcoming interview or job fair is two hours. Half the group will be suited, while the other half attends our interview preparation class. After one hour, they switch for a total of two hours. If your group already has a job or internship they do not need interview preparation and that appointment is only one hour.

What will my women receive?

We will work with you to determine the combination of professional attire that works for your group. Scrubs are available for women entering a profession that requires them.
